Instagram Data Deletion Instructions

These instructions explain how to delete Instagram-derived data that Flaer stores about you, and how to revoke Flaer’s access to your Instagram account.

How to delete Instagram data

If you have connected your Instagram account to Flaer, you can delete all Instagram-derived data that Flaer stores about you at any time. This includes copies of your shared media, insights, snapshots, and basic Instagram profile information.

  1. Open the Flaer app.

  2. Log in to your account.

  3. Go to Settings → Instagram

  4. Tap Delete Instagram Data.

  5. Confirm the deletion.

After confirmation, Flaer will permanently delete:

  • Stored copies of your Instagram media

  • Insights (reach, impressions, taps, interactions)

  • Audience snapshots

  • Instagram long-lived access tokens

  • Basic Instagram profile information (username, profile picture URL, account type)

This action does not delete your Flaer account, but unpaid shares will not be paid out and you will not be able to monetize new content. You can reconnect Instagram at any time.

How to revoke Flaer’s permission to access new Instagram data

  1. Open the Flaer app.

  2. Log in to your account.

  3. Go to Settings → Instagram

  4. Tap Deauthorize Instagram.

  5. Confirm deauthorization.

After confirmation, Flaer will permanently delete:

  • Permanently delete your Instagram long-lived access tokens

  • Stop retrieving any new Instagram data

This does not delete previously collected Instagram data. It also does not delete your Flaer account, but unpaid shares will not be paid out and you cannot monetize new content unless you reconnect Instagram.
